At its June 10, 2008, meeting the GPABC Board approved the purchase of approximately $15,000 of items for Fall Sports athletes. See the May and June Meeting Minutes for details.
Meeting Date Change
Our next meeting will be held on July 2, 2008, 6:30 p.m. at Greendale Middle School MPR. Committees for the 2008-09 school year will be formed and remodeling ideas for the Outdoor Concession area will be discussed.

Scholarships Awarded
The GPABC is pleased to announce that it has awarded $1,000 scholarships to the following athletes from the Class of 2008: Erica Goodman, Nate Heinen, Madeline Jensen and Nick Piotrowski. The winners were chosen from the 29 applications received this year representing athletes from almost every sport GHS offers. Congratulations!
GPABC Donates
$60,000 for Turf at GHS
In keeping with its stated objectives to financially assist and secure the highest advantages for all GHS athletes, the GPABC presented a $60,000 check to the Greendale School District in June to be used for installation of turf on Gavinski Field. Construction is set to begin in late June 2008.

Golf
Outing
June 13, 2008 was the perfect day for the GPABC’s annual Golf Outing at Muskego Lakes Country Club. Thank you to all participating golfers, hole sponsors, and raffle donors for making this outing such a success! Thanks to your support the 2008 Outing raised over $15,000. Our thanks also go to all the volunteers and committee members – Marc Monreal, Rob Hamby, Paul Baniel, Mark Brunelli, Steve Placek and Johnny Gardetto – for coordinating the day’s events, dinner and raffle.
